If you don’t want a plasticky feel, 4 decks, 8 source inputs and support for ALL 4 major software platforms, take a look at the Denon MC6000 mk2

    Hey Vintage,

It does look nice but its not a stand alone mixer. Since im bring it to a club to hook cdj’s on i need the function of a stand alone mixer.

is the MC6000 Mk2 no longer a standalone mixer, the Mk1 was I think…. I believe Vintage has the Mk1 so I’m sure he’ll chime back in. I know there’s not much metal in my Maschine Mikro, but it’s not the same kind of “plastic toylike” feel as the Mixtrack Pro 2 I have, it feels substantial even for it’s small size. What I’ve read and seen online of the S4 Mk2 and the Kontrol series in general, is that they are in fact quality built hardware. Hell, even the new Rane mixers (spendy as all getup) have plastic posts under the knobs now days… Keep us posted and be sure to ask more questions so you get all the input you can. There are many reviewers on the web, I love DDJT reviews and also Kareem from DJBooth.net has many god product reviews on YouTube. Best of luck! Keep shining……….. Moonshadow

As far as the reviews tell us it is still a standalone mixer.

I am not sure if I will wait til ProLight & Sound to buy my mk2 though … 🙂

On the other hand, perhaps I can strike a deal with the nice people over at Denon.

    Greetinx.
