Tight cuts for the first track or two, fitting for the incoming songs from what I’ve heard so far.

Oh, man… for some reason, the link on this page started playin’ at the same time as I was listenin’ to it on Soundcloud, so it started to sound like you were trainwreckin’ like mad when it was just two streams conflicting. Restarting and deleting a LOT of text. heh.

Now that I don’t have conflicting streams, this is a tight mix, great cuts. Not a lot I can offer. Not sold on the namedrop sample, but that sorta thing is a pretty personal choice, so that’s just me projecting my own opinion onto you. Good job toward the center of shortening up the length of each track, good progression from long to rapid… starting out with more of each track early in the mix then shortening it up as time goes on.

    Good one, man, dig it.

THANK YOU DEATHY…I truly appreciate the feedback. I was thinking that for the new year i would get a name drop that was a little more descreet AND SUBTLE . One of the largest issues i have is the unfamiliarity with the lyrical content i have over 45000 mp3 files and i have never heard 98% of them. I am a Beats DJ…I range between 95-105BPM ..Just something i can nod my head too. I call it driving music. I have a lot of friends in Trucking they love it.Not too fast nothing against 128bpm and not too slow..but todays hip hop is horrid from a lyrical standpoint…Hence the disclaimer. The Clean versions are so edited that half the song is left out. Anyway i just got a MTP3 and will need to gety use to it and practice getting my transitions just right. and may just mix instrumentals..

Thanks for the Like on SC and the FEEDBACK

You might like Ghetto Funk… Hip Hop/Funk with a strong dose of Glitchy electronic sounds as well, in the 90-110 range normally, though some tracks do get up to 120. Let me dig up a good example for ya, Slynk’s my go-to for GF.

Ah, yeah… check this *bleep* out man, it’s tight.

This is the kinda stuff I tend to spin (and am working on producing).

There’s a WHOLE lot of it that’s purely free… I think I’ve paid for less than 5% of my collection, and it’s all legal. Much of it I found on Soundcloud.

AH, here we go… start here:

    https://ghettofunk.bandcamp.com/

Ghetto Funk started as a genre, but the guys who drove the style then started a label… The above link is their Band Camp page, where you will find 45 completely free albums to download, which will give you just shy of 200 tracks to start your collection with, and also help you to identify some of the key players in the style.

Glad you dig it! It’s a fun style, this was what made me finally decide to learn how to DJ.
