Ok lighter gear is a plus for sure haha , yeah its not a huge difference and booth space is always an issue at the smaller places im gona check into it and see because i only use 2 deck mode for now till i het my Numark Nv

If you carry a minivan of gear around for gigs, the weight of a laptop is really no longer an issue ;D

I just ordered a pcspecialist £899 with top specs
    Intel I7 4710m
    Nvidia 870m 5gb
    8gb ddr1600
1tb HDD with space for raid and msata (ordered a 60gb msata ssd eBay £35)
    DVD RW
    Windows 7 genuine
    15.6″ FHD

No text just like a generic no brand laptop so with the right shin it will look and perform better than a Mac.

I have not received yet but will update on it, but I’m confident as they have a 28 day no quible.
So the dead screen insurance etc are irelivant as can send it back as in wanted, same as setting up and testing.

    A
