That looks fine for most DJ software..

You should be able to run most software fairly easily on that – although if you start either doing a lot of sampling/effects or playing a lot of tracks at once, you may find that either you run out of RAM – unlikely but not impossible – or that you max out your CPU. As your CPU runs at quite a low speed (Presumably it does that so it doesn’t use much power?), it may max out quite easily but you should be fine..

You can have an awful lot worse than that….

Your specs are well within the requirements for DJ software.

Now know that proper drivers and settings are just as important for fluid, stable performance

Thanks for the feedback. I might move up to an i5 2.0+ GHz one eventually, but all I need at the moment is use of 2 decks, sampler, effects and possibly recorder. I’m still a rookie with an XDJ-Aero, so just getting the DDJ-RX to use with the laptop will be a step up from that.

Your processor is below the minimum specs for Virtual and Traktor, but just scrapes by for Serato. That said, you might be okay – but could run into unexpected problems due to overloading the system.
