For 1 year now I’ve been using the X1 alongside with a Hercules DJ Console Mk2 as mixer and soundcard. But due to fact that most of the times the last is just a big annoy, I will get a Traktor Audio 2 to ease on the setting up at the venue and to work more with the venue’s mixers.
The X1 complete changed my way of djing, making it not only faster and easier to mix but also to enrich a set with effects and beatjuggling. The reason why I love it is that it simply has it all with absolute no need of a jogwheel and you can carry it without feeling afraid of anything like impacts might do as it has one excellent body construction at the right size. The only handicap I find in the X1 is the pitch bend, where is quite slow for big moves in that.
