I dunno about that. I have not seen the GROUP (not grope), so I don’t know what they normally post about. Maybe they thought you were looking for a freebie and not buying one legally. I can’t fathom they would kick you out for being a digital DJ when so much of the breakbeat scene is digital.

I also wouldn’t dwell on it. If they are “closed minded”, then you don’t want to be a part of it. All the “anti-digital” spots I see online now are generally more full of DJs who can’t get a gig anymore NOT because some digital DJ undercut him…as they claim…but because they walk into clubs and hate they have to play to the masses as opposed to dictating to them.

ALSO…Google is an easy help when looking for a track. I’d still love to see the music section here divided between mixes and just chatter on music. Just so you could ask where to find something.

Is this what you’re looking for? http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Free-Me/dp/B0010XDD4Q

I don’t get it I made sure I said buy when I asked. Yea that’s the track. Thanks. I could only find the CD for some reason.

Sorry about the spelling errors. I was at work and I know that I spell checked it.

I will never, never understand why people are so elitist about things like that. I don’t see any reason why you would’ve been kicked out of the group, maybe it was a mistake for all you know. Could be he meant that people in the group were producers only, and just threw that DJ title in there… It could be that they had spammers recently posting things like that just so they could answer under different account names and link to shady places to buy music… you never know, the net really is a Wild West. At any rate, brush it off. There’s plenty of communities online to join/

I doubt it has anything to do with being digital, and everything to do with your first and only post having both a link and a video. A lot of groups and forums get flooded with spam and idiotic posts by trolls and therefore crack down pretty harshly on new members (legitimate or not) who don’t ease themselves into the community before starting up new threads and blasting out questions. I would suspect that your post (neither spam nor idiotic by the way) simply raised a red flag and got you the boot.

Politely message them, apologise and ask where you crossed up so you won’t do it again.

If they act like asshats about it, well then you know what type of people they are and can focus your time elsewhere. If it was a misunderstanding, I’m sure it can be sorted out.
