    Hi James, welcome to the forums.

    Well Manchester is a tough city. I was there once for a warmup party to a Gary Numan Gig in Manchester Academy. While it was quite fun, I think there is a lot of competition and surely not easy to push through there.
    Although you have some sweet and nice little pubs, I stayed at the Salutation and it was quite fun hehe

    Yeah its really hard to get your name about here but I think I am just going to have to find my own niche in the market and see what happens. Lots of DJs means lots of people into music so im sure il be able to find a way in somehow.

    Any advice on getting into the clubs here? Where are you based now? I love the site btw.

    I’m in southern Europe now. As with anywhere, start your own night, find a niche and get noticed that way. You’ll improve and prove yourself at the same time. And expect it to take years, not weeks or months.
