    Indeed. It would have looked really bad on me if I had to pay back their deposit and have them scramble for a replacement.

    Thank goodness for backups.. I wouldn’t necessarily rely on iTunes Match as my backup though.. Instead I have several copies of everything on various bits of media (NAS Drive, Portable HDD (x2))..

    Glad you’ve managed though – it’s never good when things go wrong like that!

    Good news today – the cops had someone report to them that a teenager was trying to sell a laptop on the street. So they went and checked it out and sure enough it was mine.

    Yeah, I wasn’t expecting to get it back so that was a surprise.

    Thankfully, I live in a small town, so it was relatively easy to get the word out.
