    i personally mix in with purely the low eq and using the filter but in the past have read advise that no eq should really go past 3 o’clock position

    the perfect level is 0bd that’s in the middle with no filtering or boost of the signal, but use your ears, the point of having an eq is so you can make adjustments as necessary.

    Another tip is that it’s better to take away rather than add. Instead of turning the treble up to 5 o’clock, remove a bit of bass and mid and turn the volume up.
