A&H is discontinued afaik so i would stay away. The VCI 400 gets really good reviews especially the EGE edition, which just tops your budget (without shipping and taxes). However if you are not bothered about Serato i personally would go for Reloop’s TM4 (it has good mappings with Traktor and VDJ) or Numark NS6/4TRACK. The former is about £440 (but can be had a bit cheaper, or at least i did) UK and the latter two are bout £650-700 but you could pick up second hand one for less your budget.
The Numarks have been on the market longer than Reloop (at least the NS6 has) and have proven reliable, but owning a TM4 i can say it looks and feels rock solid. Also the Numarks can be used as standalone mixers, while the Reloop only has an emergency AUX in, providing you are running it on ext. power.
For me having one only external input has never been an issue as i really do not see myself having 4 channels AND hooking up another 2 devices in…
Having said that a third choice could also be Reloop’s Digital Jockey 3, which seems to have dropped price somewhat lately and can be currently had from Juno for £350. This is mapped to Traktor and generally people have good things to say about it but i have never had it myself, so i cannot comment.
Still at this point price/performance wise i would go for Reloop TM4. You might need to reduce the sensitivity of the jogs a little to about 26%-29% to get more of an authentic vinyl feel, but aside from that mapping is pretty descent.
