Some schools
of thought claim that the internal recorders in DJ software are not
high enough quality, (we don’t agree) so if you fall into this
category you might also want to record externally.
As you can see, Phil and Steve do NOT subscribe to that school of thought and clearly Terry (and I for that matter) don’t either.
As I never thought it useful or wise to dig into the reason some people think that, I can’t elaborate on their reasons for doing so. Only that imho they are misguided, especially when it comes to the sound quality of today’s DJ software (all CD-quality or better if I am not mistaken).
