    Yes you can.

I dont use mac however so i dont know how its done on a mac.

On PC you can do 2 different ways, drag the songs into a playlist within itunes, and then refresh your itunes library in Traktor

Or option 2 is to use the right window where it shows your playlist and navigate to your harddrive then to were you download music and then hit refresh.

Maybe that’s where I’m missing this. I haven’t seen the refresh spot, I’ll have to look for that when I get home later and try that! Where is the refresh button on your pc version?

Thanks so much, not sure how I missed right clicking and hitting refresh as that did the trick! Thanks again!

you could also search for the track in finder and just drag it into รก playlist or even straight into a deck.

But even it there is internet connection at the club and someone requests a song I don’t have I simply say I don’t have it. I’m not going to download a song and play it unless it would be a song I know already.

I’d give you a friendly warning against downloading requests and playing them mid-set.

    1. you may not know the song, and it may sound poor, or just be goofy in generall

    MOST IMPORTANTLY:

having an internet browser and wifi antenna up while dj-ing is bad enough (opens your computer up to crashes, freezes, takes up ram and slows computer down)
but DOWNLOADING something onto your musical instrument mid-set can literally crash your computer (it happened to me) not a virus, jsut the strain of adding files and accumulating data while performing tasks for traktor…a request is just not worth the risk IMO.
