iHome speakers for house party?

im guessing this is a continuation off the other thread. if you play the mixtrack at the same level as you use the ipod then it wont blow it out. however im betting the mixtrack can output the volume higher than an ipod.

also if youre throwing parties where the volume of an ihome and ipod is enough without severe distortion…then go for it. but in my experience..using small speaker + house party = turning it all the way up for a long duration of time
