Love it…Always enjoy reading your stories, makes me feel im there on the spot, keep it coming man ^_^
    The GIG’s Field Report…aw yea…

PS. Maybe its time for you to hire some big muscle headed bouncer/bodyguard to stand beside you, so next time someone approached you with Heineken , the big muscle bouncer can grab that bottle and smack it to their head ^_^

Nice stories, just keep in mind… that when anything goes wrong with the music/sound systems, it’s always the DJ that’s gonna take the fall. it’s very important to protect your reputation/DJ gears from drunks, as a mother lion (lioness) will protects her cubs.

I love your stories… back in my day we were still using vinyl when I started and you did not have any stable table, so everytime someone only slightly bumped into the DJ table the needle would skip… good times…
On the good part though, those old beltdrive turntables I started out on, could take 2-3 beers spilled over them a night and still worked hehe

Dude I cant see the images 🙁

It always bothers me when someone is coming and holding something containing even a minimal amount of liquid over my stuff. About people not thinking in this type of situations, yeah when they are partialy drunk … they deffinitely not think.
Someone drinking + bottle in hand + dj set = certainly not a great idea.
I need to check the: talk to the manager !, hope it works for beggars.

I’ve been working out and bulking up so I won’t have to hire one but I’ve been finding it a bit difficult to scratch which is the downside.

She wasn’t drunk she was perfectly fine, she just started to drink it and put in right on my table right next to my Numark N4 and right under my laptop which was on a Stanton stand North of the Ipad. 😡 I couldn’t believe she did that it’s common sense though, people should be fairly afraid of things with a lot of button and lights that cost over 2000USD.

Time for me to start investing in belt drive turntables, plus I was thinking about getting a direct drive or a cdj. But with the luck I’m having with Heineken Cdjs are out the answer and direct drives from what I heard send noise to the platter and I don’t want that. That wouldn’t be a bad Forum Beltdrive vs. Directdrive.
