noooooooo….never max the gain… i would start at half gain (under 0db) on the rane, then adjust yours accordingly… you need to leave room on your NS6 for effects (if you use them) as they will distort if you max the gain too high…. i would set the channel fader at max, set the rane gain (that rhymed) at half, then check your levels on your NS6 and work from there
