I tidied the DDJT office (we had a pile of DJ controllers on the “guest sofa” about three deep!) and played a pretty spiritual-feeling DJ set in a local chiringuito: was hot but not too hot, children running on the beach, waves crashing in, sun setting… my tune of the set was an unexpected drop of Doobie Brothers “Feel The Music” in the middle of a load of slo-mo disco – went down a storm 🙂

Thursday night was great, had a San Joan party for about 20-25 people on my friend’s rooftop terrace and the 2 of us played back to back for about 7 hours straight, starting with hip hop, going into french house through every subgenre of electro and ending up with a killer dubstep sesh at the end. Then we headed down to the beach where the whole of Barcelona was out partying at the chiriguitos and stayed there until the sun was up.

    Good times 🙂

I took Friday off as a summer day from work. Saw my niece and nephew for a bit, then went grocery shopping.

Saturday and Sunday I stayed in, did things around the house, had lazy moments, and worked a bit on a mix.

My sister just got back from Spain and it was my moms birthday as well so we have a family cookout with about 30 of us. We ended up playing a friendly game of wiffle ball and fired of the grill and stuffed the cooler with some good ol’ beers. Great times indeed

I did a 5 hour show on Saturday, which because of time differences I have to wake up at 5:30 am for 😮 other than that it was a lazy weekend.
