    Then I would say your PC is not up to the task, please tell us more about your PC/Laptop hardware.

    My Pc config as follows,

    Corei5 Processors
    8gb Ram
    1tb HDD
    Windows 8.1 pro (no background apps are running)

    serato dj is 1.6.1

    pioneer ddj-sb is with the 1.05 firmware update.

    I guess this has something to do with the latency setting but not sure.

    First of all go to Serato.com and download the latest version. You are several versions behind and the one you are using does not support Windows 8.1
