Hi Djrizki. Well I don’t really want to mention it here as I may have friends or other DJs who visit this site and I sort of want to stay anonymous. But as far as I know it does not matter where you are from or where you live to join a label. The people who I mention are signed with labels from other countries too. Any ideas? Thanks…

Although I was just asking in more general broader, like from Asia continents, or America or Europe Continents but that’s cool i respected that, I’m just trying to get the feel if you in the same boat as I am thats all.

The labels I joined is pretty much the same as you described, they are not a record labels or anything, they more like a DJ or Event Organizer label if you would.
And it also consists of the number of DJ’s ( and yes not all producers just like you described)

In my local area, some of these “label” opened a DJ School (my label did), my advice is to try to make a contact with them, or heck register some of their advanced classes (like battle class or digital class etc), in the process you making a natural connection with them, and if they like you enough they might ask you to join their “label”. Yeah I know its a long process lol, hence thats whats the purpose of my initial question to you, I hope i did not offended you in some way or whatnot

Hey dude/dudette(?), I really appreciate your reply and advice. Of course you did not offend me. I just need to stay anonymous like I said as I live in a small country (in S.E Asia) with a small DJ community in the genre that I like so… 😛 Anyways I guess contacting the labels is a good idea. The labels that my “friend DJs” are part of actually do release music as well. That is why I was surprised to see them join the labels just as a DJ while they do not produce their own music. Like I mentioned I tried to Google it but there is not much info out there so I am really curious to know if I could actually join a lable as a newbie DJ. But I really appreciate your help… May I ask what kind of music you play?

Pay attention to your local clubs, some of these “labels” if they huge in your country they should have events every now and then in some clubs, watch the flyers in social media and such, most of the time they have the DJ name along with the label name for example DJ ABC (Label DJ Awesome), once you acquired the information where they going to have their next event, , go to that club, make contact with them, how ? the best one to get noticed is to open a bottle, you may have to do this a few times in their events to get noticed, then you can approach them, of course this is just one of the example
or you can just simply go to one of them DJ’s and introduced yourself,

My genre is pretty much open format multi-genre,

    Southeast Asia huh?
Hey we could be in the same country for all we know lol

Thanks for the reply…. Unfortunately my genre is not very mainstream so it’s not full of events at clubs but I still appreciate your reply. 🙂
