How to best utililize playlists in Traktor when playing multi genres

I generally have a folder with tracks that are roughly in a similar BPM range ie house, electro, breaks and organise them in to subfolders ie peaktime bangers, cheese, fillers, hard, euphoric etc. I used to just break them up by specific genre/sub genre but then you may find it more work to be spontaneous with mashing genres a bit.
