Well for non digitaldjtips staff or invited writers, this is what the forum is for.

Only staff and writers with a certain background and reputation are invited to write articles for the website to uphold the high standards Phil puts up for this site.

If you think you have this background (many years DJing professionally, producing songs or industry working background) then write a little about yourself and I hook you up with contact infos.

In addition to that, Phil browses the forum on a somewhat regular basis and Terry and I keep an eye out for interesting topics, questions and such. If we find something we think could be a good inspiration for a blog article, we will forward the link to the good people of the blog team and they will decide if there is room and enough potential. If so, your question/topic might end up in one of the many blog-articles that starts with “Digital DJ Tips reader <insert name here> asks/says/wonders …”

And you know Terry and I both read every posting on here, so we surely won’t miss anything we think is interesting enough not only for forum visitors but the really large population of regular blog readers.

    Oh, I see.

Well, I was musing on the technical side of it actually, I was thinking of writing an article on using your smartphone\tablet as a second display. In fact, I was aiming to try to tell people not to run behind the gear and instead concentrate on the main task at hand (DJing).

A lesson I myself learnt a couple of weeks back. Suffering from GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) has become pretty common for the DJs and Producers of today.
