There isn’t a way that I know of to stop bass from traveling through wall without spending a fortune. So my only solution would be for you to start respecting your brothers right to quiet, and get yourself a good pair of headphones.

i have hdj-2000’s but imo to practise playing to people there has be be outloud music and pre fade listen for headphones 🙁

the bass sine wave is freakin huge and will just difract and refract

No easy/affordable way around this without completely cutting the bass or using headphones. Sorry.
