Get someone who is a producer and has already done at least local radio tunes to hear your tune and ask him what he thinks. Networking is the key here…

There’s a local promoter that used to work in radio. he seems as good an option as any, right?

I assume you probably have a facebook or twitter or something, whenever you release anything on soundcloud, make a big deal of it on the social networks, none of my friends are even into dance music but all my EDM dj mixes get like 90 plays within an hour after I upload them. Dont have any of that self doubt, you have made something, so automatically you are ahead of like 90% of people, be proud of your creations and just shove them out there!

Post on Mixcloud, you’ll eventually get feedback. However, a good way of knowing I’m improving is on my ability to do stuff I couldn’t do before. Sometimes you just know.

If you can listen to your old stuff with a non bias ear and point out mistakes that you have made. Or even areas that you good have improved. I.e. “What was I thinking with that bass or I should have faded this out it would have sounded much better”.
