Lol thanks for the trust placed in me. The only higher education where you can go that teaches music and technology is musical conservatory that i know of. No longer just classical music. The have producer and sound engineering courses.

Try taking a look at Berklee College of Music – I think they might have the type of curriculum you’re looking for.

And if you decide on technology instead, well, MIT is just across the river 🙂

Ty vm both of you… I checked out Berklee and it really has 2 majors which seem nice to me. I am wondering how can I get scholarship, cuz I cant pay 34000$ per year… Any ideas? I am not American and I have no clue about such things, because in Slovenia (where I live) we have 100% free education from kindergarden on…

I’d suggest sending an email to admissions@berklee.edu and start a conversation – they have a few full and many partial scholarships. It’s a huge school, 4000 undergrads and about 30% are from outside the states, so they’ve done this before.

One option a bit closer to home for you (and free, of course) might be the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland. They have both a bachelors and masters program in Music and Technology: http://www.siba.fi/en/how-to-apply/degrees-and-programmes/music-technology/about-us

Might be worth checking out 🙂

I can also recommend the combined study of Electrical Engineering and Audio Engineering in Graz (my home town).
It seems to be very popular, is free for the most part and really near you.
The uni is one of the few Austrian universities with a good international reputation and by what I hear the guys that attend are really fast in finding jobs.

Here is the website:

There is an application test in harmonic listening and music theory you need to pass in order to get in. But with your training that should be easy.
