    just ur dj gear (whatever u use – laptop, controller, cdj, turntable etc), any speakers u can find at home, ur headphones. that’s it.

    I agree with Spars – in particular, I think it’s a good idea (especially early on) to practice on the hardware you’ll be taking with you when you play out.

    – Headphones
    – Speakers

    Controller we recommend for beginners:
    Numark Mixtrack Pro (any version of it)
    reloop Beatmix
    Denon MC 2000

    Laptop:
    Basically any newer model will do.

    Headphones:
    Cheap Sennheiser 201s (20 bucks)

    Speakers:
    M-Audio AV 40 or if you want to spend more KRK rockit series.
