    Hi Tony, got your message about wobbly speaker stands but I’ll reply to you here.

    That definitely isn’t normal.

    What I do is have some of those rubber sticky “feet” that you can buy for furniture underneath and on the top of my stands – we have marble floor so that works for me. What you really need if you have, say, carpet is spikes on the bottom. The whole point of speaker stands is to isolate the speakers and stop vibration (and to get them to the right height of course) but it’s normal to have to spend some time getting this right. It’s also true that speaker stands are better the more you spend on them!

    Finally, check in the instructions – you may be able to fill them with something heavy like gravel from the DIY store to get them more stable.

    You miss understood me, the bottom of the stand was fine
    It’s the top, when you put the speaker on it spin round there is
    No grip there.

    Definitely get those rubber sticky feet then and use them on the top. That’s my advice 🙂

    Just an update on my issue with hi fi tower I’ve returned
    The equipment waiting for a refund.
    Got a numark pro today from woodbrass.com the box had
    previously been opened there was finger marks on the
    decks and the RCA cable was missing. Not having alot of luck.

    I’ m looking for some low cost gear. I’ve seen Some QTX 300w
    Speakers with an amp, but I’m thinking it might be a bit too
    Low in term of watts. I’m planning to start out with party and
    Weddings till I get into it, then gradually get bigger.
    Can anyone advise me on speakers amps price etc. and where
    To find them. I don’t have a music stores near me
