Hi Thinking, welcome to the forums.

The How To Digital DJ Fast course is just that. A course to get you ready to play out at parties and such in just a matter of weeks. What it also is, is a good way to avoid making a lot of the “trial and error” mistakes you would make if you go at it on your own. Finally, it helps you practice the right stuff the right way.

It’s by no means all-encompassing. Not even our Masterclass isn’t, although it does come close.

I always applaud people who are willing to put some money in education, not just spend everything on shiny new gear. Good for you.

    Thanks man!

Yeah I’d have to agree with Phil and a lot of the others here that education (both in the technique and crate digging sense) is way more important than gear. Though I’m a fan of that too being an engineer (grabbed an S8 so I can do some fancy clips/stems stuff down the road with more practice). I’ve been reading the book “Last Night a DJ Saved My Life” and love the quote (I can’t remember who, maybe it was Sasha?) who’s like, “I don’t know what you guys are going nuts over. I’m just playing one record after the next. You can do this!” Just goes to show how powerful track selection and playing to the crowd can be!
