I think having a partner or partners is a good thing, obviously it depends on the people involved but if you all work hard it is possible to get further, quicker, and it can be more fun too.

haha thats just what we al thought when we found out we wanted to do something as producing and djing 🙂
We could help each other and learn from each other.

There ahve been some great partnerships over the years. Two (or more) minds can get extra creative. It can be a tonne of fun too! I say go for it and if things don’t work out then you can just go your separate ways.

The greatest advice i could give you is make as many friends as possible. The more people you know, the more opportunities will come your way, teaming up with your friends will give you more contacts… Just remember to always keep focus on the love for music and not money.

I agree with what every one else has said, however, I have one other thought to add. If you have friends who are going to specialize in producing, that is really good, because I say that most of the big DJ’s out there (at some point or all the time) make their own signature music, and I personally think that making your own music as well as DJ’ing it, has the makings for success and respect.. Not that I am saying for the pursuit of money, but how rewarding would it be, to mix up the music you helped create… awesome…

I say, if you can work with these other people, you will be better off working together than working alone, not to mention being able to keep each other motivated, because DJ’ing can be really frustrating at times.

    Good luck
