    Traktor control S4 (yes it has tiny jogs, get over it) and 2 NI F1s is the only thing that will have the bells and whistles of the remix decks together with the 4 channel control you want. Plus we are not DJTT 😉
    Alternatives do not include the 4 channel mixer in the way you want it to work and hence will have more problems than the S4s tiny jogwheels.

    makes sense. i appreciate it 🙂 and while you mention it, do you know of a bag big enough to (semi-) conveniently carry the S4…?

    I would look for the Magma S4 bag or the Zomo S4 bag. Both are extremely well build, nicely padded for safety and can take the additional laptop, F1s and cables.
