We have a lot of reviews here on the site, maybe just check out some more, like the beatmix, mixtrack, etc etc so you get some more ideas.

Thanks I will take a look. I will let you know what I have decided later!! I am going to pick one up before my back procedure today so I have something to do over the next few days.

I literally just sold my 4-Mx a couple of days ago and after having it for over an year, and having played with mixtrak, DJ2 and some Gemini for a while i can honestly say this thing was super. I especially liked the feel of the jogs. Once you unlock them they sort of “sink” a little when you touch them – which i’m yet to find on any other controller. The other thing is them buttons – they are really heavy duty and take considerable pressure to click, except the transport buttons (CUE, PLAY, etc), which are nice size and quite sensitive.

Thanks for the reply, I ended up getting the Hercules 4mx and your view has confirmed my feelings. I was already familiar with the RMX so it seamed logical. I hope others find this information useful as I did other discussions.
