Greetings, and welcome to the forums! Actually, never heard of club pro dj until your post, but did some research. First, it’s now called VJ6 so if you have an older version this may not apply. Second, the documentation is not good – less than a page on controllers and controller mapping. Here’s what I found relevant:
The Control Mapper allows you to map the controls on your Keyboard as well as the Visiosonic DAC-2, Numark DMC-1, Hercules DJ Console, Hercules MK2, Hercules DJ Control MP3, Vestax VCI-100, Denon DN-HC4500, Behringer BCD-2000, Behringer BCD-3000, Numark OMNI CONTROL, Hercules DJ Console Remix, Hercules DJ Control Steel, Kontrol DJ KDJ-500
Also:
MIDI controllers supported by VJ6are defined in the file pluginsMidiDevices.xml.
Default control mapp ings are in the PluginsMidiDefaults.xml. Do not edit
these files because they are updated in each new version of VJ6, and you would lose your changes.

This is unusual in that most dj software comes with etrensive documentation on how to integrate hardware controllers. Also be aware that after plugging the controller it still must be configured in the software setup before it will be seen.
Just a personal opinion – if you need to purchase an upgrade, I’d suggest you look at a more widely used and supported solution, such as Traktor, Serato, Virtual DJ, etc.
