Maschine is an individualist performance tool and works well with Maschine Software only. There is no need to map it to the Maschine software, you need to programm it however what it should do. That however nobody can tell you, I have no idea what you want to play with Maschine as the possibilities are A LOT. So my best bet would be to go to youtube and search for some Maschine tutorials. Maschine is no easy tool to master.
Actually maschine is also a midi controller and can be mapped to any software the has mapping capabilities. I have the maschihine mikro with the f1 and an s2 using traktor. However I do agree with Terry in that it works the best with the Maschine software.
have you looked into the basic maschine mapping for traktor that comes with maschine? It has control over transport and 8 cue points each for Deck A and B. Im sure that can help if your into playing around with your hot cues as you mentoned.
Check some youtube videos and there are some where you can sync the maschine clock to the master of traktor so everything you do in maschine is always in sync with the master tempo in traktor (that is if you want to start using some loops in maschine w/ traktor). I also like using maschine as live input into a traktor deck. This way you use vsts in maschine then route into traktor for a whole world of possibilities.
also check out the website maschinetutorials.com it has amazing tutorials on maschine. Soem are free and some a paid subscription. I pay for it and it is by far the best site to learn everything you need about maschine.
I think before you starting thinking on how to use maschine with all your other gear its important to see what it can do as a stand alone unit then you will have a much better idea of how you want to use everything together.
