First of all when asking such questions:
    – Tell us what controller you are using
    – Tell us what laptop you are using
    – Tell us what operating system you are using
    – Possibly tell us what firmware on the controller you are using
    – Tell us what Traktor mapping you are using
    – Possibly make a screenshot of your audio settings in traktor

This way we can better try to understand what you are doing and we gladly help you. And like you said, everybody started out one time, so do not be afraid to ask questions.

That makes sense. Sorry about that.

    I have a Denon 6000 series controller

    I have a Toshiba laptop

I use Windows 7 32 bit home premium

I’m not sure what the number on the firmware is, but I did do a firmware update check, and I have the most recent firmware for the controller.

I am using the standard .tsi mapping file that comes with the software, and is requested to be used by Denon before trying out custom ones.

I cannot post the screenshot right now, but I can say that I have the built in win soundcard set at my external soundcard, and the default soundcard to use (top of the settings screen) as the Denon ASIO driver.
