    wel, that’s kinda what my brother was doing…but it took like 3 hours to copy a folder to a 4GB flash drive and then transfer to my hardrive 🙁

    i was under the impression that all we needed to do was to plug in his hard drive & my hard drive to the laptop, copy & paste to my hard drive.
    but is not happening

    Sounds like your flashdrive is really bad. When I copy something to my stick or external HDD it just races (at least on my mac).
    However Macs and PCs use different file systems, maybe there is some problem (I am not a PC guy, not really into the whole Windows thing).

    yeah, that’s the problem because my brother has a mac, all his music is for his mac & serato so we are trying to copy
    to my external hard drive for my windows laptop
    is just frustrating :mad::mad:

    do you think if i get a new flash drive and transfer the music to there and then to my external HD it will work?

    If they are mp3’s, then the file format is not the issue here. Try a firewire, an ext. HD, or dropbox (which is free)?

    I am new to putting my cd+g disk on to my computer and playing them with lyrics shown that are on the disc Can you give me some basic How to instructions on how to do this and what software will I need? Power cd+g burner has been recommended. This is becoming a hobby and I don’t have a lot of funds to spend Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Format your external HDD to Fat32. That’s a drive format that’s recognized by both MAC and PC.
    Then you can copy and paste the music files from the MAC to the HDD and then import them into your PC.

    I transfered from my hp9000 to macbook pro 15″ late 2012 using a external drive and I too had a mk2 with itch. Coming out of the PC took forever, I left it over night but into my mac was a breeze because the external was thunderbolt.
