I believe they do fade out all the way. I just took the plunge for TP2 a few days ago so I’m not too familiar with it yet but I haven’t noticed a “residual” EQing or anything like that. Are you using a controller with it? If so, I guess it could be a mapping issue. I’ll try it myself this evening and let you know what I find if no one else has replied.

So I just tried it and I’ve got the same problem! I have no idea what’s going on. I guess it could be a mapping issue, but the Traktor software says they’re all down 100%. I’m just basically going to look around online and hopefully find something

You have to select the classic EQ in the settings if you want the EQs to completely kill at 0%. The other ones, as you have found out, don’t completely kill.

Thanks for the info but i am already using it on classic and it dont fully remove all the sound. it does with the kill buttons, but but really need the knobs to take the sound fully out.

I think that it might be a hardware issue or are you using Traktor on your laptop alone?
My MC6000 kills all EQs 100% in any settings…..

I’m still having trouble too. I changed my EQ settings to classic and neither the knobs nor the kill buttons completely cut the EQs. I’ve tried going through my N4 as well as directly through the Traktor software and neither seems to do the trick. When everything’s killed, the track still comes through the master, just at -20 dB or so. Fortunately it doesn’t make a difference most of the time because it’s drowned out by the other deck but it does get irritating every once in awhile.

Ive tried it running from using my mouse keyboard and mixtrack pro and neither of them have managed to take the sound completly out. could it be some mapping problem as im quite sure its not hardware.
