    Hoi Yannick,

    and welcome to the forums (of welkom in goed Nederlands :D).

    What uni are you at? (I live near Utrecht).

    You are playing out regularly. I’d say that is just about the best schooling you can get. Especially dealing with your “customers” is a very valuable lesson you are learning.

    Keep up the good work and keep us posted on that perhaps, maybe, hopefully gig that’s coming your way.

    Hi Chuck! I’m at UCU, so I live on the international campus (in Utrecht) that’s right in Rijnsweerd. I got turned down for the gig, sadly, because I never played on CDJs before and the promoter told me MIDI is “outside of his concept”. So right now I’m looking to maybe learn how to play on them in a practice room in Utrecht. Could you recommend a good and reasonably priced one?

    Hey Yannick,

    We are almost neighbours then. And yes, I know just the place to go. Excellent gear (2000Nexus with 900Nexus mixer), nice owner and reasonable price.

    Check out DJ School Utrecht. They rent out practice rooms too. Ask for Boris and tell him Chuck sent you.
