Sounds like you are on the right track. If you can afford it, look into getting a gobo light (either moving head or fixed), all you need it to drop in a heartshaped gobo and off you go. Just a thought.

Doing radio work is fun, but has nothing to do with club/party dj-ing whatsoever. It does help getting into the music selecion mood though.
