Hi Yuusou,
I am from Germany, too. I am also working as an IT specialist and am 28 years old. Also I am starting with DJing right now. So you are not alone 😉
I also like taking a cool track and making something different out of it. I have to admit, that I have no clue yet how to actually do that. But my advice to you is Traktor Pro 2 in combination with any compatible controller. If you can afford it buy a Kontrol S2 which is the cheaper, more reasonable version of the Kontrol S4. The Kontrol S2 includes the full software version in the box. In Traktor Pro 2 there are two features you will love: Sample Decks and the Loop Recorder. Those features acutally are the ones Dub uses in the video.
Sample Decks allow you to copy loops or one-shots into them and fire them by a simple button press. With the Loop Recorder you can record a loop from the currently playing track. It will be saved as a WAV file but you can also put it into a Sample Deck right away and use it for new creations.
The next version of Traktor Pro (2.5) will go even further with Remix Decks. They are like Sample Decks but can be scratched like normal tracks.
You can test those features in the free demo version using only a mouse and a PC keyboard. But any Midi device should also work with some effort in configuring it.
