    When it comes to the process of picking gear (and software), you will find lots of articles about it in the various forums.

    I’d say don’t fret about DJ names too much. Depending on the kind of DJ-ing you’ll be doing it will be a bigger or smaller issue having one or not, but it won’t matter in the months you’ll spend learning the ropes.
