welcome aboard the ddjt community. made the same switch myself from vdj to traktor and love it. i also started out with a numark mixtrack but after 3 months i had already outgrew it and found it necessary to upgrade to keep progressing as a dj. so if your serious about your hobby and taking it to the next level eventually i would highly reccomend getting a more serious controller. if money is an issue i would advise the traktor s2, only 400. probably less if u buy used or refurbished. its also directly integrated with traktor so thats always a plus.
if your a boss and money dont mean shit to you, go for the s4. lol, but yeah thats bout 900. something in between would be like the numark n4 or vci 100.
