AIAIAI TMA-1s here – couple of months in with them now and been extremely happy with the purchase. Always used Sony cans before with mixed feelings.
Drooled all over the NOCS, or at least I would have liked to have. No Canadian distributors made them a pain in the ass to try and buy so ended up passing on them.
I’ve been using the V-Moda M100 when it was first released several years ago (2012??). They are the perfect headphones for me for DJing. The bass is loud and tight, not overbearing.
Before the V-Moda, I was using the Sony MDR-V700DJ (yes, the original Japanese version) for close to 10 years. The right piece broke off right at the plastic hinge. I duct taped it together and super glued it and it held for several live gigs until it fell apart again.
I need a back up headphone for casual listening and practice sessions. I hate to put wear and tear on the V-Moda.
I’m thinking of the Sony MDR-7506. I’ve heard good stuff about it
