    If you just want to DJ (rather than produce) you can easily buy powered monitors and good headphones with £300. Look at KRK Rokit speakers and phones like Allen & Heath XD53 or similar.

    Phil I’m also looking for some headphones but more for beginners, the XD53 costs like $200, anything cheaper you would reccomend for a beginner?

    Thanks Phil – I’ll have a look at those. The fact that they can be folded definitely appeals.
