My mate did something VERY similar a few year ago when he and a friend tried to kick off a new night at Manchester’s Pure Space club
Called “Before the Storm”, black light “activated” glowing lightening strike posters were placed around the walls and around the booth… it looked VERY cool
I wish i had the photos but they were on Facebook when i deleted it

Unfortunately the night wasnt a success even though i enjoyed it a great deal

Sorry, i lost the original photos when i deleted facebook, so this ISNT spamming this video!
The drops and banners on this video are screen printed on vinyl and go from event to event

I just wish i still had some record of the illuminous lightening strikes that were made for the Before the Storm night, they were brilliant

This was a recent event a local promoter, PromoSe7en, did at a bottle service “fake people” spot. While I’m not always a fan at the levels of douche that show up to these spots, I give them a lot of credit for the imagination and decoration they did.

The event simply was about using blacklights to make everything glow. Glow toys were encouraged and the promoters even brought out cheap stuff to give patrons. The staff all dressed in clothes that glowed, and girls even wore wigs.

The walls I’m sure were painted tarps or something, but look how cool that event is compared to just a typical club or bar with the usual vibe. Something to think about when you do events. They made it work in a glam club, but this also is very much “underground rave” if you want.

So how was the event ??
