There is nothing below 500 bucks that will get you any decent sound in a place like a shopping mall.
Anything less will have serious issues with bass distribution and as soon as 10 people gather around will make your sound fade to nothingness.
You simply cannot cheat physics: Mall = large room = lots of air to move
Of course you can always do it anyways and be known as the DJ that sounds like a tin can… it is your reputation on the line…
