Ok, you are a bit ahead of me, I am in the process of finishing an article on this subject (because I think it is WAY UNDERrated.

However, here are two “normal” portable solutions. I use the first one (and I know Terry has one too). Ridiculously easy and quick to set up, correct working height and they easily hold my 2x CS2900/X1600 coffin (same size as 2x CDJ2000/DJM900).

The second one is nice too, but I prefer closed fronts (don’t need people looking at my legs and the usual cable mess and what have you). And it’s a lot more expensive.

Then, if you have a nice budget and you want to be THE BEST looking DJ in the entire region, you could opt for this:

I know which one made MY wishlist, like way at the top as a MUST HAVE this year! LOL

    Great Response!
I myself use my Numark Ns6 right now, which I have in a coffin case. It is the Magma “multi format workstation xxl” Which fits a wide range of controllers and mixers. I love having that portable solution for a stand that I can just pop my case and gear onto, especially if there isn’t a table or real booth in sight!

You had me confused there. Generally flightcases for controllers and mixers are called just that, flightcases 🙂 . With the possible exception of the ones that will house the DDJ-SZ and NS7.

Coffins are typically your 10″-mixer – 2 turntable or 12″-mixer – large CDJs format. Those need wheels and preferably two people to lift onto the stand. They are large enough to fit your mother in law in, which probably explains the name 😀 .

But yeah, I know all about the feeling of not having a table (or should I say, suitable table) handy.

No, lol. I meant as in a stand, that I can put my flightcase onto. Sorry for the confusion.

Check this out… it is not quite the XPRS, but it is one third the price point…

I can see how that would appeal to some. If I had to choose between current one and this one, I think I’d stick with my current one quite frankly.

Are any of those import though? I live in the USA. I understand that DigitalDjtips is based in the UK, I’m assuming that If I ordered any of those systems here in the states, they would send them?

I ask only because not all gear can be imported/exported everywhere and sometimes the range of shipping is limited 🙂

The InterState Audio ones are also available from (or at least look totally the same as the ones from) Odyssey, which is a US-based company. I am guessing you can get them from the likes of SweetWater and others. The Equinox one I don’t know about. The LiteConsole XPRS is from a Dutch company, but they sell stuff worldwide, so I am pretty sure they have a distributor (if not more) for the US.
