    Hi,

I started djing with a hercules controller and they are cheap and rather good. I’d recomend them if you’re not sure what functions you want . I’ll say that the MK4 is good but so is the instinct, the air and if you want to spend a little bit more a RMX (or even a mixtrack pro)

    Neon,out!

Thanks Neon .. nearly brought a Vestax Typhoon XE  last week  but  after reading your advise Im leaning towards a Herc .. I know where I can get a Hercules  RMX at a good price it comes with traktor pro ..included .  I also wonder how if I  can use the controller with the radio station in creating shows

The mixtrack pro 2 is a fantastic controller to begin with! It has some fantastic features and a wallet busting price to boot!

I got a DJ Control Instinct and i personally can vouch for it. Quite durable, small and it has all the features you’d want. The only annoyance is the lack of a “gain” knob. but the auto-gain in the software makes this much less of a problem

Just make sure you don’t cheap out too much. I NEARLY got a DJ2GO as my first controller. Glad I didn’t. It’s nice as a little thing if you HAVE to use it for some reason, but the lack of EQ would be a real bother
