I think that it’s called Melbourne Bounce 😀

    Some recommendations could be;

    AronChupa – I’m an Albatraoz
Juan Alcaraz – Minions Bounce (VEEX Bootleg)
Contiez Feat. Treyy G – Trumpsta (Djuro Remix)
    Bingo Players – Rattle
    Alfons – Ganjaman
Timmy Trumpet & Savage – Freaks
    Almost everything from Tujamo
Sak Noel, Dj Kuba & Neitan ft. Mayra Veronica – No Boyfriend (Club Edit)
Maybe also Bang La Decks – Aide

Also try some Melbourne Bounce remixes from popular songs like the ‘Green Day – Holiday (EMSi ‘Melbourne Bounce’ Remix)’.

    Hope it helps 🙂

Thanks for getting in touch… that’s exactly the kind of music I like, pretty much every one you suggested.

I was wondering if anybody is aware of any good ways of discovering new music like this?

I check sites such as iTunes, Spotify, and Soundcloud however ‘Melbourne Bounce’ usually isn’t it’s own genre, and comes under electro/house, but 90% of house isn’t this kind of music so I end up listening to mostly music that doesn’t fit me; making it quite difficult and frustrating to find new songs.

Any help would be appreciated by anybody!

    Thanks,

My suggestions; Find an artist you like (ofc playing this genre). Search if he has any live gigs uploaded/mixes or whatever..Find some music this way..Youtube recommendations..Soundcould exploring..And listening to some youtube/soundcloud/whatever mixes that have been uploaded from various users…;)

Seconded Soundcloud, it’s a great source for cratedigging a lot of music – I see tons of Melbourne Bounce float through there.

There are plenty of articles/posts on the main site and right here on the forums about music discovery.

Including more DJ oriented places and pools. I think even something as mainstream as BeatPort can help you find tracks better than iTunes and Spotify. Then there are loads of more genre-specific places.

The only thing is this stuff is not gonna jump in your lap and the friendly help you’ll get here is only gonna get you so far. Music discovery, much as it was back in the vinyl only days, is hard work. You have to go out and be creative about your exploring.

I don’t know any artists/titles in this subgenre…but I’d tell you to listen to sets from this year’s Ultra Music Festival, and even last year’s. I honestly heard a lot of this sound in many of the headliners.

Maybe look at “Big Room House” or something.

Definitely subscribed to one of those DJ Pools, when “certain genre” gets hyped up, most of the new releases will carry that “certain genre”, like how its happening with Future House now, all the new releases carry the Future House influences, be it new original mix, or remixes of latest Top 40, just like how it happened with Beatport Top 100, all the top 10 crowded with Future House type

Granted just like Melbourne Bounce, Future House doesnt have its own Sub-Genre section at the Beatport, they do however at the DJ Pools, labeled under genre “Future House”
