    Hey Mr Littler!

What kind of file is it and where are you uploading it to?

It’s a wav, and I was trying to upload it to the part of the forums for uploading mixes

i suspect that it is too big a file (wavs are big uncompressed files). perhaps try uploading to another site like soundcloud, mixcloud or even mediafire and then linking to the file.

    great, will do mate.

at the risk of opening an audiophile can’o’worms, in itunes you can right click ‘create mp3’ to make a much smaller file. set up your conversion setting in the preferences 1st.

    ok, sorry about the delay…

open itunes and go to edit > preferences > general > import setting

then select your desired bit rate, i suggest 320

next, find your software’s recordings folder. and open your dj set (right click ‘open with’ select itunes)

when the wav appears in the itunes window, right click > create mp3 version

once it is done you can edit the metadata of the file in itunes, put your dj name as ‘artist’ ect…

then try uploading that version to your mixcloud or soundcloud account (or sendspace or mediafire)

personally, i like itunes as a way to play music and organise files. i might be worth doing a little research on itunes and how it can organise your files.

    good luck mate
