    Hello Prakash 🙂
    I have found a Site that has a number of Free ‘Voice Changers’ thta you could have a look at to see if they suit you:
    http://www.snaphow.com/convert-your-voice-into-fake-voice-change-voice-male-female/
    And when you say ‘Embed’ your Name at Certain Parts of your Mix; do you mean like a Little Jingle or something like Radio DJ’s use on their Radio Shows ?
    Because if so; and you have a Microphone; this could be Quite Easy for you; and also you could use the ‘Voice Changer’ as well if you are a little Concerned that your Own voice is not Satisfactory 🙂

    My voice does register pretty well on the mic as I have practiced a lot over the years being a percussionist and band leader and having introduced my band prior to & during performances + making other important announcements. But I wanted to deviate a bit and so will certainly look at the link you mentioned … plus I’m also looking at something like a bass drum kick loop at the beginning of the Mix with my voice overlaid like eg. “DJ-Prak … Prak … prak … prak” where the word prak gets echoed with a heavy reverb & spaced effect and repeated in sync with the bpm of the kick (something very short … probably just 1 bar/phrase). At times I’d like to use my own voice & at times other voices to add variety. ANy more ideas would be really welcome. Thanks so much for your invaluable input.

    That’s Cool; as I have a Friend called ‘DJ Clak’; and he does Exactly what you are Suggesting there;
    He just has the words ‘DJ Clak’; and uses either a Simple Delay or a Ping Pong Delay just to allow the ‘DJ Clak’ to Repeat 4 Times; he is not Particular about whether the ‘DJ Clak’ Repeat on the Kick Drum; as the ‘Words’ are Fading Out from the First ‘DJ Clak’;
    However; if you make the ‘DJ Prak’ a Sample; then this will be in ‘Sync’ with your Master BPM’ so will not Deviate from the Track Underneath the ‘Words’; so will Never Sound Odd 🙂

    Recording it as a sample is fine (any recording software should do the trick). I’ll have to split it into 2 samples as I only want the latter word “Prak” to be repeated. And then probably drop & align the 2nd sample “Prak” with every kick gradually fading out the volume. I guess this would be one way of approaching it although that’s not what you probably had in mind. Which software would provide me with a Ping Pong Delay …and … would you suggest any other approach?

    There are 3 Free VST Plug-Ins on the following page; and as long as the Main Software you are using Supports VST;
    All you do is Create a Folder called ‘Steinberg’; Create another Folder ‘Within’ Steinberg called ‘VST’;
    Then; when your Free VST has downloaded; all you have to do is ‘Copy The .dll File’ to your VST Folder;
    So; for instance; if you were to Download the Middle VST on the page I have provided (on to your Desktop); inside the Folder will be a File called (something like) ‘bionicdelay.dll’; this is the File you ‘Copy To Your VST Folder’;
    Your Software will Find this File; and the VST will be Available to Use within your Software Product;

    Your Approach to Splitting ‘DJ Prak’ into 2 Samples sounds Fine to me 🙂

    EDIT: It seems I didn’t give the Web Link; but here it is now 🙂

    I use soundforge OR audacity to create my ‘drops’. easy peasy pumpkin neesy. I even get my family and friends involved. They love when I add effects.
