    First of all, I have to say I’m extremely jealous of your setup 😛

    But anyway… You don’t need to add let’s say a reverb to every track, just add it on top and alter the send/return per track. This uses a lot less cpu and keeps the latency down.

    What Marco said works well.
    Then in Ableton you can map the rack macro on lines.

    It caters to something different, but I hope you get the basic idea from the video.

    the only thing I manage to from that video, is that you can use effects to radically change a sound to create something else.
