    something like a reverb + delay while moving the channel fader down or putting a filter on?

    Well in Serato DJ I like to use the Echo effect, put in in “reverse mode” and up the decay rate as I go.

    In traktor I use the Delay effect in single mode. I keep feedback on about 30%, and the filter at like 75% then the loop size dependent on the type of song I’m gonna mix in. Works pretty well so I saved it as one of my effect presets.
